Three months Vacation starts now... First stop the concrete jungle where dreams are made of, where those streets will make you feel brand new and the lights will inspire you... Do I need to say more:
NEW YORK CITY!!!
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand. A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name. Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command. The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she with silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Dream came true! Me as an immigrant the Statue of Liberty has a lot of emotional meanings to me. It represents not only freedom but also hope... It was my dream as an argetinian immigrant and american resident now to meet the Woman of my dreams before I headed home to Argentina.
I stayed in the middle of the city by Broadway avenue, from there I call UBER so the private driver got me on time to Battery Park and from there took the ferry that leaves every half hour to Ellis Island. The ferry makes two stops, one at the Statue of Liberty and the second stop at the Immigration Museum (Ellis Island). I booked the ferry online at http://www.statueoflibertytickets.com
There is so much history behind this Island, so many people that immigrated with hopes and dreams to have a better future, it gave me goosebumps being there... So touching and a must see while you are in NY.
On my way back to Battery Park I met my best new yorker friend my Amiga Myo Moe (Professional Photographer) and she took some cute photos of myself to show my Look for the day...
Wearing: Hat + Shirt by Forever 21, black jacket by Banana Republic, Jeans by Gap, Riding rain boots by Hunter, Antigona Bag by Givenchy and Sunglasses Clubmaster by Rayban.
I got to see these lovelies creatures all over the park...
To continue...
