Paris Je T'aime... The first time I visited Paris was 15 years ago from this time, I was only 14 years old studying abroad in Europe. I was such a little girl but I still have memories from my first time in one of the most beautiful
cities in this world.
15 years go by and I was finally back to see Paris again with my old man, my Papa. There is so much to see in Paris you really need at least a full whole week and more to see it all. So literally from plane to plane traveling from Hawaii to London, then Paris I made a list of the must see places in a such a short period of time. Here it is the list:
- Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre.
- Eiffel Tower
- The Louvre
- Musée d'Orsay
- Champs-Élysées
- Les Invalides
- Tuileries Garden
- Grand Palais
- Pont Alexandre III
- Place de la Concorde
- Notre Dame
- Arc de Triomphe
The best thing to do is go to a metro station, grab a map, circle the most important attraction you want to visit and literally everything surrounds the Eiffel Tower in a circle. Except for Notre Dame and Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre which is a few metro stations far from the "circle". So on our first day we started early in the morning taking the metro to Montmartre.
Before you actually get to the Sacre-Coeur cathedral, you have an hour from the metro station to there hiking the stairs. It is a beautiful, narrow little artistic town. So it is a great exercise too, also perfect for doing some little stops to rest and do some souvenirs shopping. :)
The view is breathtaking, you can see every single corner of Paris from above Montmartre.
After visiting Montmartre, we planned to spend this whole day touring around the Eiffel Tower "circle" which is exploring all the main attractions in one day since they all surround one place.
Also I was in Paris for Fashion Week, which most of the shows were located at the Grand Palais:
Next we walked towards Les Invalides and Pont Alexandre III:
Next we kept walking heading towards Place de la Concorde which we came across a cute old painter, and a very parissian caffe with amazing bragettes...
Place de la Concorde
Next... Fashion Week here in Paris!!!
It is very nice that you share this with us.
