Alooooha friends! I am back to suggest you one of the best face skin treatments you should be doing before summer arrives since right now it is also the perfect timing: Microneedling! Let me tell you all about it and how was my experience 😃.
I went to the best Medspa esthetics and anti-aging place we have here in Olympia, WA: Omnicenters (same place where I go for botox and fillers 😉).
Let's get to the basis, what is it micro needling exactly? Microneedling is a collagen-stimulating treatment great for general skin rejuvenation. It can treat a variety of concerns such as skin tone, wrinkles, texture, and acne scars. It is fast and minimally invasive, it stimulates the natural production of new collagen and elastin in the skin, which is key to healthy, glowing skin. It’s a safe and effective procedure for overall skin rejuvenation, whether it be on your face, hands, neck, or décolleté. It is going to help improve:
- Sun damage (sun spots)
- Age and brown spots
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Stretch marks
- Acne scarring
- Uneven skin tone
- Large pore size.
In my case I have it done on my face, now what are the target areas where it can be done?
You can do the treatment on your face, neck, and decollate, as well as scars and stretch marks.
Do you need any care instructions for before the treatment it is done? Yes: Avoid the sun, retinols, exfoliators, and tanning beds before your treatment appointment.
What should I expect after my first treatment? (as results) For the first 7 days your skin can flake, peel and feel dry while it's healing. You might also be a little red when leaving the office. Your skin will feel like you have a sunburn. See photo below:
The healing process begins almost immediately. Your skin will look smoother and more radiant in a week following your microneedling treatment at Omni Centers. Results are gradual, with incremental improvement with each microneedling session.
How many sessions should I get for the perfect, flawless skin? Depending on your concerns, OmniCenters usually recommend 3-6 treatments. Many people also do maintenance treatments after they have completed their treatment plan (generally 1-2 per year)

Hyaluronic Acid is our standard glide serum for the basic treatment. Upgrades include exosomes, growth factor serums, firming serum, Rozatrol (redness serum), and BrightAlive (for hyper pigmentation)
Age recommendation to start using microneedling?
Since microneedling is beneficial for so many skin conditions, including acne scarring, patients can start at a young age (including teenagers)
What is the cost? A single microneedling facial treatment runs around $375, packages include significant discounts. Patients can choose different serum upgrades as well.
Here it is a photo after 2 weeks of the treatment. I must say my skin was glowing on the 3rd day after the treatment. Although every skin is different, mine was swollen and reddish for the first 3 days and had some peeling. I loved seeing it glow and as you can see below it looks fresh, lighter and glowing:
