If you read me before, during this long stay in Europe, specifically France and Italy, before heading to the place I have dreamed the most: the Amalfi Coast, we went to northern Italy (Veneto), then Milan and Rome...
Italy is a dream of a place for me because one day you can be riding a gondola in Venice, the next day you can be visiting the Vaticano in Rome, and the next day you can be taking a train to Napoli to eat the most amazing pizza in the world and jump later on a boat to spend a beach day in Capri. Like, doesn't this sound like a dream place to you?
After spending a little short time in Milan, we took the train to Rome. OMG amigos, pay attention to this: Make sure you know the exact train terminal you need to stop before taking all your suitcases from the train!!! You can message me in private if you want me to tell you the scariest and funny anecdote my mom and I went through when we were arriving in Rome! (too long to write it here) 😅
Like I am used to, I make myself a list before heading anywhere in the world, of the must-see places I want to visit and take those beautiful photos!
So if you are heading to Rome this Summer, remember to drink a lot of water, wear comfy, fresh clothing and be ready to tone those legs because if you want to see everything, be ready to walk a lot!
Here it is a list, when in Rome:
- The Colosseum
- Arch of Constantine
- St. Peter's Basilica
- Vatican Museums
- Pantheon
- Trevi Fountain
- Piazza Navona
- Spanish steps
- St. Peter's Square
- Altare della Patria
- Via Veneto
- Piazza Barberini
The list can keep getting longer, but those are all the places I got to visit while in Bella Roma. Before I take you to this tour in Rome I want to show you this Metro Map that will make your trip easy and you will know where are you going plus you will get to decide where to visit first and how close you are to your next destination. This is a must print map!!!
St. Peter's Basilica
Right by St. Peter's Basilica is next to it The Vatican: We missed to see the Pope literally by 5 minutes.

It is walking distance from the Vatican to the Trevi Fountain, so after a yummy lunch we headed to the Trevi where is also surrounded by local leather shops and amazing gelato... What I love about everything being so close and walking distance is that you find cute little artisan shops in every corner, a family owned restaurant with the best pasta you can imagine and simply get inspired by those old colorful narrow streets... Oh I love Italy 💛
Now enjoy the Trevi Fountain!
Altare della Patria:
The Pantheon:
After a whole day walking around in the hot streets of Rome, we ended up going back to the Trevi Fountain to see this beautiful scene during night lights and have some delightful dinner... Pasta as we speack... Enjoy!
The next day, we spent the whole day walking, walking all around Rome... The first stop we did was to go see the Colosseum and it is OUTSTANDING!!!
Arch of Constantine: The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch in Rome, situated between the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill. It was erected by the Roman Senate to commemorate Constantine I's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in 312. Dedicated in 315, it is the largest Roman triumphal arch. (Wikipedia)
Later on the day we headed to get some dosis of fashion, so we walk towards the Spanish steps to end at the Via Veneto, the most high end fashion designers avenue.
Spanish Steps:
Via Veneto:
Was of my favorite things was seeing the Valentino atelier where all tyhe magic is done. The House of Valentino!!!
To end out last day in Rome and 24 hours before my Birthday, we went to make a dream of mine come true: Watch an Opera in Rome like the famous La Trabiatta.
Are you ready for our next stop: the Amalfi Coast and Positano!!! Stay tune!!! Bon Voyage Amigos!
